You asked for more colors, and we listened. Following up on our promise, we are introducing a huge new color selection and the ability to edit the color of your generated image directly. This update has nine color families: cool natural, warm natural, violet, ash, gold/warm beige, chocolate, copper, red, and vivid. Each color group comes with nine hues. One tap now replaces a long chain of choices and progress bars.

How It Works

After your new look is generated, open it in the Gallery, and tap the Change Hair Color button underneath it. You’ll see a curated list of color groups, from cool neutrals to vivids. Select one set of hair shades, and the app generates nine previews, all applied to the same hairstyle and image.

Testing shades one at a time slows the process down and quickly eats your credits. The full set is just two credits, which instantly gets you a wider range of choices.

Color groups are built around the shades that usually compete with each other in real-life decisions. Seeing all nine options side by side speeds up the process and sharpens your eye. Undertones become more noticeable, and you quickly spot what flatters your skin and what falls short.

Color accuracy depends on good lighting, so taking your selfie in natural daylight, without harsh shadows, gives you a good start.

Natural colors that are easy to achieve with your current base color are the obvious, safe choice. If you’re up for a little more rigorous upkeep, try lighter or brighter shades.
